It may ought to recall that Hugh Johnson since the 1970s has been writing about Cupertinum’s wines, and in the following decades two other masters of wine criticism – Luigi Veronelli and Gianni Mura – wrote about its wines in addition to many journalists and experts. Veronelli wrote about them in his Guides and in his columns in Panorama and L’Espresso, Mura, on the other hand, in La Repubblica, dedicated a beautiful article to Copertino Doc Riserva.
